Once painted the 8 pieces, I will beat all the tiles one by one to make a recording of the sound they produced, while the paint is wearing away, erosive wear, I mean.

The raw sound material will be sent to 4 Chinese musicians and 4 Western counterparts who will  make a sound composition to accompany the paintings in his exhibition.

When giving recorded sounds to the musicians, I would like to propose a "wear" sound for them making their own compositions. I mean about erosive wear (painting and sound).

How we can make a sonorous composition, which comes from visual wear, just using the concept "wear away" applied to the sound?
